Who We Are
ASB Environmental Services is a locally established Company based in North Queensland with a network of professionals providing services locally, in Queensland and interstate with expertise in a range of services focussed on health, safety and environment. Our team has the combined experience of over 35 years working in roles as providers of services for workplace health and safety, return to work, human resources, security, environment, quality, laboratory services and contracts management. . Health, Safety and Environmental services capability includes the review and improvement of business management systems capturing HSE and Quality plus all associated documentation. Audit and inspection programs can be delivered as one-off services or in an ongoing basis for ongoing compliance of industrial and commercial sites. The Company’s philosophy is based on reliable, prompt, efficient service and honest commitment in the provision of specialised services in all aspects of its business.
Due to our extensive network and respectful relationships, we have been approached on many occasions to stand alone and provide support services in our chosen fields of expertise. We are happy to offer services to clients, whatever size, to achieve their risk objectives through the management of risk, customised for the client’s industry and environment. Medium and small business is often not catered for in these areas. We are now responding to that demand.

The ASB Environmental Services Team boasts a combined experience of over 25 years in risk management. All staff conducting Asbestos Removal are fully licenced & Accredited and undergo regular training to maintain their skills and knowledge.
Elizabeth (Liz) Hanson
Managing Director, ABSU Pty Ltd (Trading as ASB Environmental Services)
Has over 25 years’ experience in risk management, covering work health, safety and environment, quality systems, industrial relations and training. Liz has qualifications and training in business management, Audits and inspections, HSE Management, Human Resources Management, and emergency management programs. Industry experience spans waste and recycling, transport and logistics, media, scientific research organisations and construction.
Sean Dalton
Business Operations Coordinator, ABSU Pty Ltd (Trading as ASB Environmental Services)
Has an extensive background and experience in mining / mineral processing, scientific analysis, quality processes, safety auditing, sales & marketing, environmental waste management, including hazardous waste facilities, regulatory reporting and a number of years of business management & support services including document control and I.T support.
